Summary

We will newly add the Audience List Targeting feature to Shopping Search Ads (hereinafter referred to as “SSA”).

Audience List Targeting is a feature that allows you to deliver (or exclude) ads to users included in specific lists by associating audience lists—created based on various types of data sources (audience sources)—with campaigns or ad groups.


The types of audience lists available for SSA are as follows:

  • Website Visitors: A list that enables ad delivery to internet users who have previously visited the advertiser’s website.
  • Customer Data: A list that enables ad delivery using the advertiser’s own user lists by linking user lists independently accumulated and analyzed by the advertiser to audience lists.
  • Combination: A list that enables ad delivery to a wider variety of users by combining multiple audience lists.
About the use of the audience list “Website Visitors” (Added on 2026/3/18)

To use the audience list “Website Visitors,” installation of a tracking tag is required.
The tracking tag is a tag used to measure the performance of various services of LY Corporation.
It is issued and managed in Business Manager (*1).

  • For accounts already using SSA, after the implementation date, you will be able to connect to the LINE Official Account and Business Manager from the Campaign Management Tool and issue tracking tags. Issued tracking tags can be referenced in the Campaign Management Tool. For details, please download the materials at the bottom of the page.
  • From April 1, 2026, linking to a LINE Official Account and Business Manager will be mandatory when creating a new Search Ads (Shopping) account. If the account is operated via an agency, linking is optional. For details, please refer to “Addition of Business Manager and LINE Official Account creation and connection features.”

*1: From April 8, 2026 (Wed), it is scheduled that tracking tags can be issued from the Campaign Management Tool of Search Ads (Shopping) accounts. This feature is a supplementary function for using tracking tags on an account basis. Normally, we recommend using tracking tags in Business Manager, which can be utilized across services. For details, please refer to Option to migrate tracking tags when connecting to Business Manager.
