Summary

A new “Business Name Asset” will be added to the ad display assets for Search Ads.

The Business Name Asset is a feature that allows you to display a business-related name, such as a company name or service name, at the top of the ad. By increasing the visibility of service names and similar information in the ad, improved advertising performance can be expected.
In addition, by using it together with favicon assets and other features, an even stronger appeal can be achieved.

Business Name Assets can only be associated with campaigns. Only one active Business Name Asset can be associated with a single campaign.

Notes
  • After Business Name Assets begin serving, ads under campaigns that are not associated with a Business Name Asset will display the domain name of the display URL (including subdomains) at the top of the ad.
    Example: If the display URL is “https://subdomain.example.com/sale/limited/”, “subdomain.example.com” will be displayed at the top of the ad.
  • Business Name Assets cannot be associated “App promotion” campaigns.
