We will add categories of ad placement restrictions with the launch of LY Ads Display Ads around spring 2026.
This update is part of the effort to unify Ad Account Review Standards and Ad Advertisement Editorial Guidelines following the integration of ad platforms (*1).
We will add the following new categories.
- Electronic cigarettes: electronic cigarettes and related goods
- Treatment of sexual body parts: general treatments and services related to reproductive organs provided by medical institutions and pharmaceutical companies.
- Sexually suggestive creatives (digital entertainment): expressions that may give users a sexual impression due to excessive exposure, sexual situations, gestures, or facial expressions, even when sexual intent is not explicit
With the implementation of new restricted categories, there may be additional limitations on the ads shown, depending on the placement.
It may affect ad delivery, so review your creatives in advance.
