We will remove the following restrictions on Search Ads (Shopping).

We will remove site restrictions on C-to-C site (peer-to-peer transaction site) such as flea market sites. Product showcase and Shopping Search Ads (SSA) are subject to this change.

*Auction-type products with variable prices are not subject to this change.

We will remove the sales restriction for SSA on used products. The item feed item “Product condition” will be required to show that it is a used product.

We will ease the sales restrictions of target products of Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Act (PMDA) and product categories that have individual guidelines. You will be able to list ads of pharmaceuticals and cosmetics.

The following categories will continue to be subject to sales restrictions.

• Diet, health > Health food > Smoking cessation aids
• Diet, health > Drugs, Quasi-Drugs > Smoking cessation
• Diet, health > Drugs, Quasi-Drugs > Sexual function improvement
• Diet, health > Sanitary supplies > Contraceptive device

• Recycled products cannot be advertised as “recycled products” on product showcase and SSA. Even for recycled products, handle them as used products by applying the “Product condition” field in the product feed. Also, include information in the “Product details” section that clearly indicates the item is recycled.
  *Recycled products are those restored by the manufacturer to function properly.
