Summary

You can add URLs in the audience list "Advanced segments" for Yahoo! JAPAN Ads Display Ads (Auction). When you add a URL, users who visit the site from Yahoo! JAPAN search results will be stored in the list. By adding an advertiser's website or websites that target users are likely to visit, you can utilize this information for targeting, which may lead to more effective ad delivery. We are implementing this to expand ad delivery features using first-party data, considering the strengthening of privacy regulations on the internet.

How to use

To use this feature, select "URL" in the "Type" when creating a new audience list "Advanced segments." By adding URLs in the input field, users who visit the added URL and its subdirectories will be stored in the list.

<Examples of users who will be stored in the list>

When you add http://www.example.com:
Users who visit http://www.example.com/aaaa will be stored in the list.
Users who visit http://www.example.com/aaaa/bbbb will be stored in the list.
Users who visit http://www.xzy.example.com will not be stored in the list.

Notes
  • You can't add both keywords and URLs in the audience list "Advanced segments." If you want to add URLs, create a new audience list.
  • URLs you enter will be reviewed. You can't use URLs that violate the Advertising Data Usage Standards. Users who visit URLs that are disapproved in the review will not be stored in the list.
