SummaryYahoo! JAPAN Ads has add symbols and increase the number of symbols available for ads and ad display assets in Search Ads. This change gives you a wider range of advertising expressions and a greater variety of expressions. Changes are as follows:
Add supported symbolsThree new symbols, [™], [Ⓒ] and [®], are available for the following ads (or ad display assets). The added symbols are classified as “Other” symbol type.

*You can also use the added symbols for value of the ad customizer text type.
- App promotion ads (title and description)
- Dynamic Ads for Search (description)
- Ad Display Assets (quick link, category snippet, and callout)
We will add a new symbol type, “Hyphen/equals.” "Hyphen/equals" includes full-width and half-width hyphens (ー,-) and full-width equals (=).
You can also use up to three "Hyphen/equals" symbols in an asset for Responsive Ads for Search. Details on the number of "Hyphen/equals" available, including other ads, are as follows.

- The full-width equals (=) and full-width and half-width minuses (-,-) of the symbol type ”Operator” symbol have been merged into "Hyphen/equals" and are therefore excluded from ”Operator” symbol.
- There is no change in the number of available symbol types other than "Hyphen/equals."
