Summary

As part of LY Corporation's efforts to realize our "Connect One" concept, we have unified the contracting parties to "Advertiser," regardless of the contract form of Yahoo! JAPAN Ads. Along with this change, we have revised the Master Terms and Conditions.

From October 2024, we have started procedures for the succession of ad accounts for Search Ads and Display Ads due to changes in the contract form. We have also started procedures for the succession of ad accounts for Yahoo! JAPAN Ads Search Ads (Shopping).

If you transfer the existing ad accounts in Search Ads (Shopping) under the agency agreement to each advertiser, your company must obtain the necessary access from the advertiser and complete the procedures, including agreeing to the revised Master Terms and Conditions.
Only users who have "Tool Admin" access can follow the procedure.
When a user with “Tool Admin” signs in to the account in the Campaign Management Tool, you will see a notification for procedures. Click "Go to Procedures.”

Even after the completion of the procedure, we don't plan to change the scope of use of Yahoo! JAPAN Ads for both agencies and advertisers.

Revision of 商品情報掲載利用約款 (Product Showcase Usage Provisions)

Along with the Master Terms and Conditions, we have also reviewed 商品情報掲載利用約款 (Product Showcase Usage Provisions).
In the case of the Search Ads (Shopping) account, if you take procedures for the succession of ad accounts, you will also agree to the revised 商品情報掲載利用約款 (Product Showcase Usage Provisions, available in Japanese).
See the following document for details. (available in Japanese)

Note

If the advertiser creates an account without going through the agency, the content of the contract doesn't change, so you don't have to agree to the Master Terms and Conditions.
