 August 21, 2023: End of audience category targeting settings changes (new adding, changing settings, and removing).
 *After the closing date, you can change your settings only using the migration feature.
 When you want to migrate your settings manually, change the ad group settings before the closing date. Remember that the end date is coming up.

Overview

As we previously announced in "[Display Ads] Renew audience targeting," we will migrate the already set up audience category targeting to audience list targeting and will end audience category targeting.

Offering the migration feature for audience category targeting (for Display Ads (Auction) only)

Overview

We have started offering a migration feature of audience list targeting on the Campaign Management Tool.
If you are currently using audience category targeting, migrate manually or use the migration feature.

If you use the migration feature, the migration will be done under the following rules.

Remarks

After the end of the audience category targeting settings changes, you can only migrate using the migration feature.
If you want to migrate differently from the migration policy, change the settings of your ad group by yourself before the end of the settings changes.

Overview

We will end adding new, changing settings, and removing audience category targeting.

Remarks

  • If you want to change your settings after the closing date, change your settings after the migration to the audience list targeting.
  • We do not offer the migration feature for Display Ads (Guaranteed). Do not set audience category targeting in the targeting settings of creative profiles after the closing date.

After auto migration by the system, the audience category targeting will end
