Overview
We made changes on “ad type” that indicates the type of ads on Display Ads.
These changes are for the future increases in ad types and efficiency on the advertising operation.
Specifically, the ad type names currently being used will be displayed in the “Ad type (prev)” after the release date. The new ad type is then displayed in the “Ad type” field.
In addition, we added a new item “main media format.” T
his field indicates the type of media format such as video or image on the ad of Display Ads.

The new ad type will appear on the views of Create/Edit ads and Ad list on the Campaign Management Tool after the release date.
The field “Ad type (prev)” is also displayed on the Ad list view and on the performance report.
The specifications of the CSV file for importing will change according to this change.
Precaution
・”Ad type (prev)” will be removed in the future. Please wait for further announcements regarding details.
・The import CSV files downloaded before the release date can’t be used after the release date. Please download and use the new import file.
Remarks
The operational history (change history) changed to the format after the implementation date, with the addition of a "Main Media Format" item on Monday, February 13, 2023.
The Campaign Editor will also be available on February 20, 2023.
